Text   |  | 1. Read the following text : | Internationale Wahlbeobachter haben den Sieg des venezolanischen Präsidenten Hugo Chavez bei der Volksabstimmung vom vergangenen Sonntag erneut bestätigt.
Zugleich wiesen sie Manipulationsvorwürfe der Opposition zurück.
Eine Überprüfung der Stimmzettel von 150 zufällig ausgewählten Wahllokalen habe nur minimale Abweichungen von den offiziellen Ergebnissen ergeben.
Auch die Organisation Amerikanischer Staaten OAS war an der Überprüfung beteiligt.
"Wir sagen nicht kategorisch, dass es keinen Betrug gab", sagte OAS-Generalsekretär Cesar Gaviria, "was wir sagen, ist, dass wir keine Beweise für einen Betrug gefunden haben.
Nach den von der Opposition angezweifelten Zahlen stimmten 41 Prozent der Wähler für die Amtsenthebung von Chavez, 59 Prozent votierten für seinen Verbleiben im Amt bis zum Ende seines Mandats im Februar 2007. |
